The Duff & Phelps Cost of Capital Navigator is an interactive, web-based platform that guides finance professionals through the steps of calculating Cost of Capital, a key component of any valuation analysis.
Join Duff & Phelps Director James Harrington for a case study of developing cost of equity capital for smaller companies using the Duff & Phelps online Cost of Capital Navigator platform. The case study will utilize the new features of the Cost of Capital Navigator and show you how to use them. The case study will employ two important valuation data sets in estimating cost of equity capital: the CRSP Deciles Size Study and the Risk Premium Report Study.

After completing this session, attendees will be able to:

• Explain how to estimate cost of equity capital for small Subject Companies using the Cost of Capital Navigator
• Articulate how to incorporate industry data into their estimates (and why that is important)
• Describe how to pull size premia and other valuation data directly into their own Excel spreadsheets and work templates using the Cost of Capital Navigator’s new Excel Add-in
